The completion of a form corresponding to any of the Purposes, and/or the sending of a curriculum vitae in the case of the collection and processing of Personal Data for the purposes of recruitment and selection of candidates, is deemed to be express permission and consent to the processing of the Personal Data provided.
If User provides express advance consent to the processing of their Personal Data (such consent may, at any time, be withdrawn – see paragraph 5 below), Horizon Consulting undertakes to carry out the processing of Personal Data only to the extent and for the time necessary to achieve the Purposes.
Without prejudice to other forms of contact with Horizon Consulting, the non-provision of Personal Data by the User prevents Horizon Consulting considering it for the purposes of submission of proposals and/or quotes or other information, depending on the applicable situation.
Storage of Personal Data
The period of time during which Personal Data is stored and kept varies in accordance with the Purposes.
Thus, personal Data processed for the purpose of sending proposals for services and or quotes or information relating to new services of Horizon Consulting will be saved for a period of 1 (one year) after the last contact with the owner of the Personal Data, without prejudice to this happening for longer periods when the situation warrants it (and proportionate to that situation), in particular to safeguard the rights of Horizon Consulting.
Personal Data processed for the recruitment and selection of candidates may be kept for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose (for example, if the candidate joins Horizon Consulting, Personal Data will be processed with the purpose of human resources management; if they do not join Horizon Consulting, this may be kept in reserve for future recruitment procedures, without prejudice to the right of the owner requesting the deletion of data, at any time, as indicated in 5. below).
Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and the right to portability of Personal Data
At any time, the User has a right of access to their Personal Data, as well as to its rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and/or opposition to processing. The User may exercise any of these rights by writing to Horizon Consulting, using the address of the registered office or through the following email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Without prejudice to the above, the User will always have the right to submit complaints to the authority with jurisdiction for the purpose.
Security in the Processing of Personal Data
Personal Data will be processed and stored in computers and on paper.
Horizon Consulting is committed to ensuring the security and protection of Personal Data which is sent to us through the Site, and has adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures for that purpose, in particular: (i) protection with passwords, (ii) use of digital certificates, (iii) restrictions on physical entry to the locations of the servers that store Personal Data; (iv) firewalls, (v) secure communication via https protocol. Horizon Consulting can confirm that these security measures are reviewed and updated depending on the needs and state of the art in these matters.
If, for some reason, there is a breach of security resulting, accidentally or unlawfully, in destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access to Personal Data, Horizon Consulting shall without unjustified delay, and whenever possible, up to 72 hours after becoming aware of the same and in accordance with applicable law, communicate such fact to the competent authorities. Communication of Personal Data to Third Parties
Horizon Consulting, within the scope of its activity, may use third parties for the provision of certain services. Such third parties may be located within or outside the European Union.
Sometimes, the provision of these services involves access by these entities, to the Personal Data of Users.
